Leverage the flexibility and intelligence of your KTM's CAN bus electrical system to make accessory installation much easier with the new and improved DENALI CANsmart™ Controller GEN II.
The DENALI CANsmart™ controller allows for plug-and-play installation and integrated control of up to four accessories to enable dozens of customizable settings that can be controlled directly from your KTM switch cluster or CANsmart™ accessory manager software.
The CANsmart's four circuits are pre-programmed to connect and independently control two sets of DENALI lights, a SoundBomb horn and our B6 auxiliary brake light.
Gen II – More features, more performance, more versatile
Unlike the Gen I CANsmart, all four circuits of the Gen II can deliver a full 10 amps of continuous current and each circuit can be configured to operate all types of accessories. The maximum current draw for the entire device is 30 amps continuously. The Gen II also features two new additional light settings. You can now modulate your auxiliary lights to increase visibility and set your left and right parking lights to turn off independently when you activate the corresponding turn signal.
Features
High/low sync- Adjust the auxiliary headlights to toggle between a programmable high/low beam setting using the factory high beam switch.
ON/OFF and dimming*- Control two sets of lights independently ON/OFF and change the intensity level (for day and night) directly from your device's original vehicle switches .
Modulate lights- Set the auxiliary headlights to modulation to improve your visibility to other drivers.
Flash to pass- Need to get someone's attention? Press the high beam switch three times and your auxiliary lights will flash three times quickly.
Cancel with indicator*– This feature deactivates the corresponding auxiliary light when you turn on the turn signal to prevent powerful auxiliary lights from overwhelming your signal.
Inverse flashing with danger*- This feature causes your auxiliary lights to flash inversely to your hazard lights, increasing visibility during roadside emergencies.
Plug & Play horn installation- Quickly and easily connect high-performance aftermarket horns like our SoundBomb™ without having to add an additional wiring harness or relay.
Strobe with horn- When this feature is selected, the CANsmart™ software will automatically flash your auxiliary lights when you sound the horn. This feature works regardless of whether you have the factory horn or the SoundBomb™ horn installed.
Deceleration activated “Smart Brake” technology- CANsmart™ measures vehicle speed in real time to activate your auxiliary brake light when braking before you even touch the brake. You can adjust the sensitivity and minimum speed at which the Smart Brake function activates.
Flashing pattern braking- The CANsmart™ offers four different flashing patterns that make our super bright auxiliary brake lights visible to drivers behind you. You can set the auxiliary brake lights to flash only during hard braking, flash continuously when the brake is applied, or flash four times quickly and then remain constant (California legal flashing frequency).
Circuit function selector- Using the circuit function selector in the CANsmart software, you can operate any accessory on any of the four circuits. Click a circuit icon to open the drop-down menu and make your selection from the list of available circuit functions.
Switched power source- The CANsmart™ offers a universal “accessory” option that allows you to easily get clean switched 12V power. This means that any accessory you plug into this circuit will turn on and off with your ignition.
Delay timeout- You can also set the accessories in this circuit to have a delayed timeout. This keeps them powered for up to 30 seconds after you turn off your bike.
Onboard power- The “Accessory” circuit option is ideal for powering your GPS, phone, heated devices or other electronic devices.

The dimming and ON/OFF functions for auxiliary lights one and two are not available via the bike's factory controls(All dimming and light settings must be configured inCANsmart accessory manager software )
Indicator circuit function not available.
Deactivation of the additional headlights with indicator function not available.
Flashing additional headlights not available as a turn signal function.
The additional brake light is only activated with the front brake lever
KTM dongle function not available
If spontaneous dimming of your additional lighting is important to you, we recommend using oursDialDim lighting controlThis allows for on-the-fly dimming and control of up to two sets of additional lights. Note that both products can be installed together on your 890. So a logical setup would be two sets of auxiliary lights on a DialDim, while your horn, brake lights, daytime running lights or other accessories can be powered via CANsmart.
Ich habe mir diese Abdeckung gekauft, damit ich die Denalis notfalls abdecken kann, falls es ein Ordnungshüter mal super genau nehmen sollte. Ich führe sie immer mit - Passform ist perfekt.
Nach einer Polizeikontrolle wurden meine Denali Scheinwerfer moniert, da sie keine E-Nummer hatten. Mit diesen Linsen konnte ich diesen Mangel beseitigen.
Das cover macht einen guten Eindruck, ist stabil, passgenau und erfüllt genau seinen Zweck. Was noch fehlt ist ein Zugang zur Ladebuchse, denn so ist man immer gezwungen, zum Laden oder Updaten das Navi aus besagtem Cover zu nehmen. Trotzdem, volle Punktzahl und mein Lob an die Leute von Kodiak Gear.
Abwicklung war perfekt!
Hatte versehentlich die Version für das XT bestellt ... auch der Ausausch gegen die passende Version für mein XT2 lief reibungslos und vor allem sehr schnell.
Der Bumper sitzt gut und eng an.
Merkt man, wenn man den abmacht, um an die USB-C Buchse ranzukommen.
Bin sicher, dass das XT2 mit diesem Bumper viel besser geschützt ist als ohne.
Und ich hoffe, dass der Bumper das nie unter Beweis stellen muss.
Ich habe dauerhaft Kriega ROK Straps an der Gepäckbrücke befestigt. Mit den beiden Haltelaschen ist die Befestigung vorne besser gelöst. Die Teile sind schnell montiert. Sauber gerundete Kanten und ordentliche Beschichtung.
Wollte die Soziusgriffe loswerden, da diese die Auflage des Mosko Moto Reckless 80 störten. Jetzt liegt das Teil besser auf. Ausbau der Haltegriffe und Einbau der Hülsen waren ruckzuck erledigt. Passt perfekt. Ist für mich aber nur eine Zwischenlösung. Da ich eine Touratech Gepäckbrücke verwende, soll in Zukunft auch noch der originale Grundträger wegfallen. Die Hülsen sind aber nicht geeignet, eine Gepäckbrücke von Drittanbietern direkt auf dem Heck zu montieren, da dann der Winkel nicht stimmt. Für die Weiterverwendung des Originals aber optimal.
